October Top Hits
Nov 1, 2023
It's that time again! My top hits, according to Spotify, for last month.
- What am I Gonna Do Today? — The Regrettes — No surprise to me here. This has been on endless repeat since I discovered it. Buuuuut I also just shared it here, so maybe I'll do top six instead of top five, lol.
- AMAZING — Rex Orange County — Hmmm already mentioned this one, too…
- Put Your Records On — Corinne Bailey Rae — You don't even have to try any longer, my love… But that doesn't mean I don't love it when you do, like how you somehow magically ended up next to me last night……… And I would love to know what your favorite song is.
- Kiss Me — Sixpence None the Richer — I never once claimed I wasn't cheesy AF, lol. And anyways… I half suspect this is what we're both thinking half the time when we see each other… “Just kiss me, already!”
- Crazy — Gnarles Barkley — I dunno if this is even a love song, lol, but it makes me think of me in relation to you. I also like the From the Basement version, but its lackadaisical pace is admittedly not for everyone…
- Wild Horses — Rolling Stones — I mean. There isn't a force in this world that could take me away from you. If it means I get to grow old near you, even if not by your side, then I will stay in this house until the day that I die. But I don't think it'll come to that, my love. I really don't.
- Make It Wit Chu — Queens of the Stone Age — Officially the only song I even know by these guys, but… Yeesh. And a ton of examples of just exactly what I spend half my time these days daydreaming of doing with you towards the end of the video…
Oooops looks like I can't count! Ah well. I hope you're having a lovely, if cold day, my sweet love. Can't wait to see you again. Hopefully next time we'll get more time.
Until then… I love you.
Yours,
